You said bounty hunter, not mercenary. Where I'm from, a bounty hunter has to be as cooperative with the authorities as he can stand to be, or he doesn't get much business.

A mercenary would have no trouble letting me go my way if I passed him on the street. A bounty hunter might have to think a little bit.
